Books to Read

I read. A lot. Here are some books I would recommend checking out!

Nutrition and Health

Sugar Crush by Dr Richard Jacoby.
This is the book that started it all for me. I devoured it while working a night shift in September 2016 and I quit sugar the very next day. This book will open your freaking eyes.

Natural Solutions to PCOS by Marilyn Glenville, PhD.
When I was diagnosed with PCOS I learned very little from my Doctor. He made it sound like PCOS was very simple to manage and that I would be pregnant in no time. I decided to do be my own teacher and discovered this book. Incredibly helpful, I would recommend starting here if you have just been diagnosed, or if you Dr has been as minimal as mine was.
Keto Clarity by Jimmy Moore with Dr Eric Westman.
You never forget your first Keto book. I love the ketogenic lifestylfe because in addition to helping me heal my pcos and reversing my prediabetes, I get to eat bacon and eggs as much as I like. :)
12,000 canaries can't be wrong by John Molot.
Did you know the cosmetics you wear and the environment you wore in can be hindering your hormonal health? Well it does. Read this book.
Fat Chance, beating the odds against sugar, processed food, obesity and disease by Robert H. Lustig, MD.
A witty, and highly informative book.
Ecoholic Body by Adria Vasil.
Want to get rid of your chemically laden cosmetics, cleaning supplies, and food, but don't know where to start? This Canadian book reviews the eco and body friendly products available now.
Wheat Belly by William Davis, MD.
Did you know that eating two slices of whole wheat bread can increase your blood sugar more than 2 tbs of pure sugar can? Insane. Learn why there is no such thing as a "healthy whole grain."

Eat Fat, Get Thin by Mark Hyman, MD
A more in depth look at how a ketogenic diet can help your body fight chronic illness.
